Beautiful Baby to Be

I took this picture of Tes and Mackenzie-to-be when she was 36 weeks.... she carried so beautifully.... oh my, I was a HOUSE at 36 weeks! Mackenzie is now 7-8 months old.... and just as beautiful as the mum and tum that carried her!!

I took this picture of Luke a while ago. I love the tender little kiss he is giving the tiny little bunny.

And to me, my big boy looks so small and vulnerable on the big bench, which emphasises just how small and vulnerable that little bunny is that he's holding.

How quickly they grow: but sometimes I think we forget that these little children which now seem so big to us, are still, infact, very little children.

Wedding shots

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of doing the wedding photos. I have always been a bit hesitant: what with it being only ONE opportunity to get it right..... but with the age of digital photography, the margin of error is greatly reduced. And I guess over and above that, it's simply a matter of practice makes perfect.

Here's another pic, from Sammi & Bruce's wedding, that I quite enjoy!

Happy snapping

Let the Blogging Begin

So it's my first blog.... ok, so I'm a bit slow off the mark: I like to do things in small steps though!
I will be posting some of my favourite pics from time to time, taken with my trusty Canon 400D: nothing fancy, I know, but it keeps me clicking, and that's all that's important!

I was very priviledged of late, when I was given the opportunity, along with another friend, to take wedding pics at Sam and Bruce Wacher's wedding. It was a scorcher of a day (some say 42C), so it was pretty hard work. But weddings are special occasions, and sharing in that made it all worthwhile!
God brings us together, and keeps us together, and it was wonderful seeing Him honoured at the Wacher's weddings. Sammie and Bruce, I hope you like the pics! These are couple of my favourites!

Until next time.... happy snapping!
